Practising time expressions board rush
Aim: to practise and revise prepositions that are used with time expressions with younger learners (on, in, at)
Divide the board into two columns and on each side add three columns with the words below

Divide the class into two groups and line them up in single file a few metres from the board. Give the students who are first in line a pen/chalk.
Read out the following sentence:
I drink tea bleep the afternoon.
After conferring, or not, with their team, the student holding the pen must get to the board and write the entire sentence but with the correct preposition in place of the bleep. I drink tea in the afternoon.
The student who finishes writing the sentence wins a point for their team. The sentence must be completely correct though, spelling and all.
