Hospitality in Poland
The hospitality in Poland has very old tradition. The Polish proverb says' A guest at home mean God at home'.
In Poland people usually take some flowers and cake for the hostess (but remember take the odd number of flowers and remove the paper before giving them) and a bottle of alcohol for the host. If they have a child or children we take sweets or small gift for them.
Hospitality in Poland expect arrive on time but sometime we can be leate for example; if the invitation says six o'clock we can arrive about ten minute after.
In Poland there are some rules for greeting. The man usually wear suit a woman is always smart. The men always shake hands but kissing is olso common form of greeting in my country.
In Poland we always use of titles in formal meeting, but if we meet close friends we olways use the first name and not the surname.
