INTRODUCTION

The aim of the report is to describe the attack on two privates while being on duty.

PLACE AND TIME

The attack took place in front of the main gate of the base on the 25^th January, 2012 around 3.00 a.m.

THE EVENT

The incident happened last night. The group off approximately five people were trying to enter the base area without documents. They were stopped by the privates on duty who could not defend themselves because the attackers were stronger and under the influence of alcohol. During the attack two windows were broken and the soldiers were brutally beaten up. However, the alarm was set off but the attackers managed to escape and they were not identified. The military police was informed about the incident.

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

To sum up, the events shows that more patrols are required to provide security on the unit. Moreover, security cameras should be installed around the unit area.
