NAZARETH - Nazareth The NazBox 2011 4CD Boxset FLAC
Includes front back scans of the box and, to the best of my ability, the 64 page accompanying booklet. Difficult to get some of the pages flat enough for proper scans but for the most part pretty good.

CD Review: Nazareth - The Nazbox
First published Friday 14 October 2011 in Music Reviews by Martin Hutchinson
CLOCKING in at just under five hours of music, this is the ultimate compilation of tracks from Scotland’s premier rock export – the Dunfermline band Nazareth.
69 tracks of gut-wrenching rock over four discs, and a comprehensive 64-page booklet telling the history of the band, with oodles of photos, leaves nothing out.
The first two discs take us on a journey through the band’s career, from Dear John, a track (and single) from the eponymously titled debut album; through to Big Dogz Gonna Howl from their 2011 album Big Dogz.
Salvo Records have delighted the band’s followers by reissuing all the albums over the last few years, many with bonus tracks, and the highlights make up this trip down memory lane.
Of course, the band’s best numbers are included: This Flight Tonight, Shanghai’d in Shanghai, Broken Down Angel… the list goes on; but it’s discs two and three which makes this box set a must-buy.
During the seventies, the classic Nazareth line-up of Dan McCafferty, Manny Charlton, Pete Agnew and Darrell Sweet recorded a number of live sessions for the BBC, and as we all know – Nazareth live is pretty much an unstoppable force.
19 live tracks grace this collection, along with a jingle the band recorded for the Bob Harris Show.
And then we come to the true gems in this set, nine tracks that have never been released before. A couple from the early seventies, Paper Sun (not the Traffic song) and Storm Warning, and the rest from the eighties and the albums 2XS, Sound Elixir and Snakes ‘n’ Ladders.
These tracks show that even the group’s outtakes are worthy of inclusion on any album, and more than justify adding this anthology to your collection.
