Course policies:

• Students are allowed two absences per semester for reasons other than an illness confirmed by a doctor’s certificate.

• In order to pass the course the student has to prepare a brief (15-minute) presentation on the subject approved by the teacher. The date of the presentation should be set in advance of at least one week.
