TV3 - New Zealand nationwide television channel. Launched on 26 November 1989, it was New Zealand's first privately owned television channel. TV3 offers an entertaining & engaging mix of drama, comedy, event tv & leading news and current affairs

TV3 operates a significant news and current affairs department, responsible for over 9 hours of peak programming weekly. News and current affairs programming is in constant high demand by advertisers and attracts premium rates. TV3's flagship one-hour bulletin, 3 News is aired nightly at 6pm. TV3 also has a number of other news and current affair programmes including Sunrise, a Weekday breakfast news and information programme.

3News - 24-hour rolling news channel using resources of 3News, New Zealand Herald and Newstalk ZB. 3News offers viewers news as it happens, whenever they want it, without interruption and with all the latest national and international headlines as well as sport, business and weather. It differs from its competitors in that viewers have access to a continuous all-news service - with no chat shows, phone-ins or feature programmes. 3News features include headlines every 15 minutes, along with full business bulletins at 11 at 41 past the hour, complete sports roundup at 24 and 54 past the hour and weather forecasts just before the top and bottom of the hour.

The Hits - Hot adult contemporary music radio network, broadcasting to 26 markets across New Zealand. The network broadcasts music, commentary and celebrity interviews. 2-minute news and sport bulletins every half-hour from 6am to 9am.

ZM - contemporary hit radio network broadcasting to 19 markets throughout mainland New Zealand. The network targets the 15–39 demographic specialises in a chart-music playlist of pop, rock, hip hop and dance music. 2-minute news every hour from 6am to 10am.

Radio Hauraki - New Zealand rock music station that started in 1966. It was the first private commercial radio station of the modern broadcasting era in New Zealand and operated illegally until 1970. 2-minute news every hour from 6am to 10am.

Coast - New Zealand radio network playing a mix of easy listening, pop, rock and R&B music from the 1970s, 1980s and more recent years. Its format is smooth, with short hourly news bulletins, succinct voice breaks, minimal ad breaks and limited clutter. Its target listener is 40 to 64 years old. The network includes 17 stations in major cities and provincial centres from studios in central Auckland. Coast has news, sports, traffic and weather bulletins from the NewsTalk ZB newsroom at the start of every hour, followed by music, comments from the announcers on the music being played and issues of the day, and ad breaks of no more than 60 seconds each.

2 minute 30 second News and 90 second sports bulletin every hour and at 6:30am, 7:30am, 8:30am and 9:30am.

1-minute business news bulletin weekdays at 6:30am, 12:30pm and 5:30pm

NewsTalk ZB - nationwide New Zealand talkback radio network. It is available in almost every radio market in the country, and has news reporters based in most of them. In addition to talkback, the network also broadcasts news, interviews and music. 4-minute news bulletins and 90-second sports bulletins every hour, from 6am to 12am every half-hour

Radio Sport - New Zealand sports radio network and the talkback sister network of Newstalk ZB. It has commentary rights for most cricket matches, international and domestic rugby union games, NRL rugby league games, trans-Tasman basketball and New Zealand tennis tournaments. The network also updates developments at golfing events, bowls tournaments and other sporting events. 2 minute sports bulletin every hour.

The New Zealand Herald - New Zealand’s number one daily newspaper and connects with almost half a million New Zealanders daily. On Sunday's, the newspaper is published as The Sunday Herald.
