Motherboard Compatibility Matrix Guide

Questions about compatibility?
Compatibility information on motherboards listed in this guide comes from various
sources, including internal testing, third-party testing, system manufacturer
testing, and end-user testing. Testing may range from limited application and O/S
testing to a complete and thorough suite of tests. To the best of Intel's knowledge,
this list contains up-to-date and accurate information. However, due to the many
possible variations of a particular motherboard resulting from motherboard BIOS,
or other system revisions, the compatibility of a listed motherboard may vary from
the original configuration listed in this guide. The compatibility of a listed
motherboard may also depend on the hardware and peripheral configuration.
Although we make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information in this
guide is accurate, Intel assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions.

The following is a list of known motherboards that have been tested with
OverDrive® processor.

Note

End-user will still need to check that their motherboard and chassis
combinations meet thermal dissipation and fitting requirements for
the Overdrive processor before using!

You must confirm, as a minimum, system compatibility for mechanical and thermal
requirements with the system manufacturer or integrator via the information
contained in The Overdrive Processor Socket Specification for the Pentium® Pro
processor.

The OverDrive Processor Socket Specification for the Pentium Pro processor is
contained in Chapter 17 of the Pentium Pro Processor Family Developer's Manual.
