Predefined Aliases (Learning the Korn Shell, 2nd Edition) B.3. Predefined Aliases A number of aliases are predefined, i.e. automatically built-in to ksh at compile time. They are listed in the table below. Note that some of them are defined with a trailing space character. This enables alias expansion on the word following the alias on the command line.
