PURPOSE OF DOCUMENT

This document has been prepared in order to simplify the process of hiring a press release writer. This is
the same wording I use when outsourcing content upon freelancing sites such as elance.com. Instead of
having to to think about what needs to be requested within your job posting, you can simply copy and
paste the wording below. Of course, the content may need to be ammended as needed.

The press release must be written per guidelines so that it isn't rejected or viewed as a sales pitch. It
must be factual and informative. I am looking for an individual that can provide samples and evidence
that previous releases were picked up by newspapers, journalists, TV, radio, etc.

I would like to be able to get the release written within a week if possible.

• Sample of previous releases
