Easy Level

Beads Used:
Size 11/0 Seed Beads and 3 mm crystals
Main color (rust mix) - MC
Contrast color (gold) - C
Crystals 3mm – deep brown

Begin by stringing 12 C beads

•

Tie one overhand knot between the beads to secure

String one 3mm bead, and pass thread thru bead #7 as shown in
diagram above

String one MC bead #13 – pass thread from left thru to right of bead
#7 (this forms the first picot)

Pass thread thru bead #6 as shown in diagram above

•

String one MC bead #14

•

Pass thread thru from left to right of bead #6 (this forms the second
picot)

•

Continue forming picots all the way around

•

Secure with one overhand knot at the end

•

Glue thread ends and cut thread close to base of bead

•

Glue to earring back and voila you have finished your first starburst
earring.
