1. Print out the ornament on regular paper or card stock. Cut out the penguin and both flippers. Make sure to cut along the side of the
triangular tabs at the bottom, where indicated. Put two holes in the top of the penguin’s head and thread a thin string or wire through the
holes. Make a loop with the string or ribbon and tie it off on the underside of the head. This is what you’ll use to hang the ornament, or
attach a hook.
2. Make folds on all dashed lines away from you.
3. Spread glue on the A tabs and attach them to the back of the penguin’s front. Spread glue on the B tabs and attach them to the
back of the penguin’s left side. Spread glue on the C tabs and glue them to the blank side of the penguin’s back.
4. Spread glue on the D tab and glue it to the back of the penguin’s right side.
5. Spread glue on tabs E and F and attach them to the back of the penguin’s front.
6. Next, spread glue on the G tabs and fold them down to glue to the inside of the penguin.
7. Fold the right flipper in half. Reopen the flipper and spread glue on the blank side. Refold the flipper, making sure both sides of the
flipper line up before the glue dries. Repeat this with the left flipper.
8. Spread glue on tab H and attach the flipper to the right side of the penguin, where indicated. Spread glue on tab I and attach that
flipper to the left side of the penguin, where indicated. Place a hook on the string and hang it on your tree or anywhere for a little
winter cheer.
