Materials
3.5mm crochet hook
Special instructions
In this pattern, so that there is no solid join at the back of
the shoe the join is created using, what I like to call a
moving join. To create this join, finish the row normally,
but after initial beginning of row ch DO NOT work first stitch into the same stitch as join. This
will create a moving join after a few rounds.
0-6mths (make 2)
Chain 10
Rnd 1: 2 Sc in seconds chain from hook. Sc next 5. Hdc 2. Hdc 8 in last ch. (continuing down
other side of chain) hdc2. Sc 5. Sc 2 in last ch. Do not join.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in first 2 stitches. Sc 8. Sc 2 in each of next 6 stitches. Sc next 8. 2sc in next 2
stitches. Do not join
Rnd 3: Hdc 2. 2Hdc in next stitch. Hdc 11. 2hdc in next 2 stitches. Hdc 4. 2 Hdc in next 2
stitches. Hdc 11. 2hdc in next stich. Hdc 2. Slst to first hdc. Ch 1.
Rnd 4-5: Hdc in each stitch. Slst to first stitch. Ch1
Rnd 6: 9sc. *Hdc2tog. Hdc 1* 7 times. Sc 12. Slst into first stich. Ch1
Rnd 7: 8sc. 7 Hdc2tog. Sc 13. Slst into first stich. Ch1
Rnd 8: 7sc. Hdc2tog 4 times. Sc 13. Slst into first stich. Ch1
Rnd 9: Slst around top of shoe loosely. Slst into first st, finish and weave ends.

Embellishments
On toe decorations
Leaf: Ch 5, sc in 2
nd
ch from hook. Hdc 1. Dc 1. 5 dc in last ch. Working down opposite side of chain
dc 1. Hdc1. Sc 1. Slst into first missed chain. Finish and weave ends.
Circle Flower: ch3. Slst to first ch to form a loop. 8hdc in loop. Slst to first loop. Finish and weave
ends.
Sew the flower on top of the leaf and to the toe of your shoe and/or onto hat. For extra decoration,
make a few loose stiches to in the centre of your flower, or sew in beads (make sure they are
attached well) to give the flower a centre.
