Purple Haze Bracelet
MATERIALS
(for a 7-inch bracelet, not including the clasp):
• 4 yards waxed Nymo or C-Lon thread, size D,
or 6 lb. FireLine
• Approximately 150 size 11/0 seed beads or Delica beads
• Approximately 36 4mm fire-polished beads
• Approximately 100 4mm bicone crystals
• clasp
STEP 1: Thread your needle with 4 yards of
Nymo, C-Lon or Fireline.
String a bicone crystal, a seed bead, a fire-polished
bead, a seed bead, a bicone crystal, a seed bead,
a bicone crystal, a seed bead, a fire-polished bead,
a seed bead, a bicone crystal and a seed bead.
Leaving a 14- to 16-inch tail for attaching the
clasp, tie the beads together into a circle.
STEP 2: Go through the seed bead, the bicone
crystal, the seed bead and the fire-polished bead:

STEP 13: To add some strength to your bracelet,
go through the beads you just strung again and
exit out of the same seed bead that you exited at
the end of the last step:
STEP 14: Go through the bicone crystal, the seed
bead and the fire-polished bead (all highlighted

STEP 15: String a seed bead, a bicone crystal, a
seed bead, a bicone crystal, a seed bead, a fire-
polished bead, a seed bead and a bicone crystal.
Go around and through the seed bead highlighted

STEP 16: String a bicone crystal and a seed bead.
Go back through the fire-polished bead, the seed
bead, the bicone crystal and the seed bead (all
highlighted in
RED)

Repeat Step 6 to Step 16 until your bracelet is the
length you want it,
minus about a half-inch and
the length of your clasp.
STEP 17: To attach one end of the clasp, go back
through the beads highlighted in
RED
: the bicone
crystal, the seed bead, the fire-polished bead, the
seed bead, the bicone crystal, the seed bead, the
bicone crystal, the seed bead, the fire-polished
bead, the seed bead and the bicone crystal:
STEP 18: String a seed bead, a bicone crystal and
two seed beads.
Go through the clasp and then back through the
last seed bead that you just strung:
STEP 19: String a seed bead, a bicone crystal and
a seed bead.
Go through the bicone crystal highlighted in
RED
:
STEP 20: Next, the name of the game is to weave
your way back through the clasp twice to
reinforce it.
You can do this however you wish or just go
through the circle of beads and the clasp
highlighted in
RED
in the diagram below:
To attach the other end of the clasp, just flip your
bracelet around and repeat Step 17 to Step 20.
