Po pobraniu archiwum ZIP należy je rozpakować (na przykład programem WinZIP lub
PowerArchiver) do dowolnego katalogu. Następnie należy uruchomić tryb tekstowy (Tryb MS-DOS
w Windows 9x lub Wiersz polecenia w Windows 2000/XP), przejść do rozpakowanego katalogu,
potem do podkatalogu "run", a następnie wpisać nazwę programu "john":
Jeśli zobaczysz widok podobny do tego powyżej, program jest gotowy do wykorzystania w
systemie Windows.
