TAPESCRIPT
Speaker A:
Well, at the end of the day, there was nothing
I could do. Of course I wish I hadn’t had the
accident, but I did. And now every night when
I go to bed, I can see so clearly what happened.
As they say, there’s no use crying over spilt milk,
but it’s very hard not to.
Speaker B:
Man, I was mad! I just wanted to hit him for being
so rude to me. I don’t often lose my temper, but
boy when I do ... then watch out! I knew that I had
to calm down so I just walked out of the room
before doing something I knew I’d regret.
Speaker C:
The dark, spiders, going up and down in lifts ... ,
but I’d say that I’m most scared of spiders.
Rationally I know that they can’t hurt me. After
all, they’re so tiny compared to humans, but
there’s something about their hairy legs!
Speaker D:
The first time I saw Mark I knew he was the
one for me. We met at a party and just clicked
straight away. He felt the same and now we’re
married with three children. I just can’t imagine
what my life would be like without him.
Speaker E:
Oh, I don’t know ... maybe sitting by a log fire
in the autumn when it’s cold and wet outside.
The trees are red and gold. The only sound is
the sound of the rain on the window. And I have
a pile of wonderful books to read ... oh yes, and
of course my sweet dog, Tessie, by my side.
