The following system was put togather to pressurize the clutch packs:
Front Axle Drive Clutch Bleeder –
2WD to 4WD
Central Clutch Bleeder Valve –
Front to Rear Lock
Front Axle Drive Clutch Pressure –
Fitting should be 12X1
Central Clutch Pressure – Fitting
should be 12X1 or 14X1.5
1/8” NPT to
M12X1 or
M14X1.5
Screw-Type
Grease Gun to
apply Pressure
3,000 Psi Gauge
Needle Valve to
isolate the gauge
and the TC after
pressurizing the
system
3,000 Psi rated Gease
Gun hose
The 1/8” NPT to M12X1 or M14X1.5 can be obtained from the following resource:

Only use the MB Hydraulic Fluid:
If you still have the car and the Reservoir located in the Engine compartment driver side
has oil left in it, you can use this oil.
ALWAYS BE EXTRA CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH HIGH PRESSURE
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM!
Test Prodecure:
1. The TC has to be in the installed position during the bleeding process.
2. Slowly apply pressure upto 5 psi and open the respective bleeder valve. It is similar to
bleeding the brake caliper. However, as the bleeder valve is open, more application of
the pressure maybe required to keep the aproximate 5 psi steady pressure.
3. Bleeding is complete once the oil from the bleeder has no air.
4. Apply 475 psi and isolate the gauge and the respective clutch from the pressure
source. I.e. Close the needle valve.
5.
The maximum permissible drop of 45 psi in 60 seconds.
