Writing a Letter
Read Aloud Activity
Everyone likes to
get a letter, but most
people don’t like to
write letters.
Writing a letter
takes effort. You have to organize
what you want to say. You also have
to spell the words correctly and write
clear sentences.
Informal letters are friendly. They
tell the reader what you did recently
and what you plan to do soon. They
also include interesting information
about relatives and friends.
Sending photos with a letter is a
good idea. If you decided to include
photos, be sure to write the date and
the names of the people and places
on the back of them.
