Distribute the worksheets and ask pupils to look at the picture of the doll. Ask if the doll is a girl or a boy. (It’s a girl)

Read the pairs of phrases around the doll aloud with the children, making sure that they all understand the meaning,
and revising any vocabulary as necessary.

Ask children to read the pairs of phrases again, this time circling the correct one.
