Patient position:
Seated, with the hip flexed to 90 degrees. Do
not allow the patient to lean back. Extend the
knee without thigh rotation. (Note:
photograph does not show anti-gravity test
position.)
Examiner pressure:
Against the leg, above the ankle, in the
direction of knee flexion
