NOTES:
This cardigan is worked from the top down in one piece. The Finished Sizes above are based on 2x the

measurement across the back. Choose a size that fits with about 1.5 inches of negative ease to 1 inch of positive
ease. If you have a large bust relative to your back width, select a size on the smaller end of the range. You can

also adjust the size by altering the number of CO sts under the arms. Select a yarn that has a recommended
gauge of 24-26 sts / 10 cm, that drapes well after blocking. Abbreviations are provided at the end of the pattern.

Separate Body and Sleeve sts

Leave yarn attached. Place left Front sts onto scrap yarn, remove marker, leave sts for left Sleeve on main needle,
remove second marker, place remaining sts on scrap yarn leaving last 2 markers in place. You are now ready to

knit the left Sleeve.

Sleeves
Note: Instructions are for working the sleeves flat, in order to ensure the same tension as yoke is maintained.

However, you can work them in the round if you prefer, in which case you will CO 1 st less on each side and your
st counts will be 2 less. If working flat, it is easier to work the sleeves before the body.

gtr st. BO knitwise from RS. Seam sleeves using 1 st from each side as seam allowance.
Move right Sleeve sts onto main needle and work the same as left Sleeve.

Body

Move body sts from scrap yarn onto main needle.

For sizes XS, S, M1, L, XL and XXL: With existing yarn from yoke, k left Front sts, pm (=left), pick up and k0 (4,
