Instructions to complete “Iced Seas” earrings:
Tip
These earrings are made by wire wrapping semi-precious units to the mesh portion of metal chandeliers. Be
careful when wire wrapping, as the mesh is fragile and moves easily. The units are wire wrapped at random
without a pattern. You may choose to make them more or less full.
Step 1
Place one 3mm African opal round bead onto a natural brass head pin, making one unit. Wire wrap (see Wire
Wrapping Technique) this unit to any portion on one antique brass base metal chandelier.
Step 2
In the same fashion, continue wire wrapping 17 3mm African opal rounds, 7 3mm green aventurine rounds, 13
4mm amazonite rounds, and 12 4mm green aventurine rounds to the various pieces of mesh on the chandelier,
until you reach your desired effect.
Step 3
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the second earring.
