KT Method
Patient Position: Seated with
forearms folded across the chest.
Flex the head and round the upper
back.
Apply the central portion of the tape to
an intermediate position between the
rhomboid major muscle and the
rhomboid minor muscle.
Apply lower lateral tails of the tape
equally to the middle of the medial
border of the scapula.
Apply upper medial tails of the tape
equally to the spinous processes
through the 7th cervical vertebra to
the 3rd thoracic vertebra.
