How to become Homo Europeus –
Summer Law School
HowtobecomeHomoEuropeus
Prologue
ELSA Slovakia is one of the very potential and developing groups in Central Europe.
Despite our activity in previous year, we were not able to organize an international event.
New-elected National Board of ELSA Slovakia tries to fulfill this gap and therefore we
have decided to organize very popular international event, Summer Law School in
summer 2010. We truly believe that this event could strengthen cooperation with other
NGs and also present Slovakia as modern and developed country with long history and
tradition, situated in one of the most beautiful natural regions of Europe.
Summer law school is an interesting educational event which includes visit to foreign
country, academic program and meeting with ELSA members from whole Europe.
Uniqueness of this project lies in high standard of academic level and quality of social
program that creates perfect opportunity to overcome cultural and social differences.
Main topic of this summer law school will be European law, as a branch of law that
influences legal system of every single member country of European Union.
We are truly determined and motivated to prepare an extraordinary event that would
provide an unforgettable experience.
