Dialog 3.
Dziewczyna: Hello Tom. What are you doing?
Chłopiec: Hi Kate. I’m waiting for my mum. She’s buying some newspapers for my grand-
pa.
Dziewczyna: Are you in London?
Chłopiec: Yes, but we’re going to our grandparents’ house. They live at the seaside. Kate,
I’m sorry, I must finish. My mum has come and we must get on the train. I’ll call
you back later.
Dziewczyna: OK, Tom. Bye.
Zadanie 3.
Dziewczyna: It’s great that you came to visit me. You’ll meet all my friends. Look, they’re
sitting on the bench and waiting for us.
Chłopiec: Oh, I remember Lizzie. I met her on your birthday. She’s the girl in the middle.
Dziewczyna: No, it’s not her! You forgot! Lizzie is the blonde girl wearing glasses.
Chłopiec: Ooops! Sorry! And what about the boys?
Dziewczyna: Their names are Jack and Andy. They are my neighbours but you didn’t meet
them on my birthday. They were on holiday in Spain.
Chłopiec: OK. Which one is Jack and which one is Andy?
Dziewczyna: Andy is sitting and holding his backpack and Jack is standing behind the girls.
Chłopiec: OK. You told me that Lizzie has a sister Amanda, right?
Dziewczyna: Right. She’s the one sitting next to Andy.
Chłopiec: Great. Now I know everybody.
Dziewczyna: Yeah. So let’s come closer and say hi.

Tekst 1.
Chłopiec: Mum, will we go to the seaside this summer holidays?
Kobieta: No, we won’t. Father and I decided to rent a boat and we’re going to sail on the
lake. And after that, you’ll go to the mountains on a hiking camp.
Tekst 2.
Kobieta: Paul, I need your help! Go with the dog for a walk and take the rubbish out, ple-
ase.
Chłopiec: OK, mum. I’ll do it in a minute.
Tekst 3.
Dziewczyna: Wow, thank you very much grandpa! This present is fantastic!
Dziadek: I’m very happy you like it, Sue. I didn’t want to buy you flowers or chocolates
because you get them every year.
Dziewczyna: Yeah, this book looks great. I’m sure it’s very interesting.
Dziadek: And here’s something sweet for you, too.
Dziewczyna: Hot chocolate? Thanks a lot!

Tekst 4.
Kobieta: Tom, tomorrow I have to be at work at 7 a.m., so you won’t go to school with
me. Father must be at the airport very early so grandpa offered to drive you to
school. He’ll come here and pick you up.
Chłopiec: Does he know where my school is?
Kobieta: Yes, I’ve told him where it is and he’s got the address. I hope you’ll help him.
Chłopiec: No problem, mum.
Tekst 5.
Chłopiec: I’m lucky because my birthday is in June. I organize a party, invite my friends
and they all come. But my sister can’t say the same because her birthday is in
the first holiday month, July. At that time, her friends are on holiday. That’s
good we weren’t born in January. You can’t have a garden party then.
