Long Pullover

Materials – Merino 160 from Austermann
100% Merino Wool superfine, each ball = approx 160 m/ 50 g

600 (650) 700 g in Color 235 türkis (turquoise)

Knitting needles 4 mm (US 6) and circular needle 4 mm (US 6) from Schoeller + Stahl

Take time to check gauge! (Change needle size if necessary)
Rib Pat: (Gauge: 28 sts and 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4” measured slightly stretched)
K2, P2 Rib with 4 mm (US 6) needles

Textured Pat: (Gauge: 26 sts and 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4” measured slightly
stretched)
Multiple of 6 sts + 2 selvage sts
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2 and all WS rows: K the knit sts and P the purl sts.
Row 3: *K2, P2, K2; rep from *.
Row 5: Rep Row 3.
Row 7: Knit.
Row 9: *K1, P4, K1; rep from *.
Row 11: Rep Row 9.
Rep rows 1 – 12.

Instructions:
Back:
Cast on 126 (138/150) sts and work in Rib Pat. After 15 cm/6” from beg, cont in Textured Pat, and inc 2 sts evenly on 1

128 (140/152) sts.
After 35 cm/13 ¾” above Rib, for the Sleeves, cast on 5 sts at beg of next 2 rows, 10 sts at beg of next 2 rows and 15 sts at beg
of next 2 rows = 188 (200/212) sts. After 70 (71/72) cm/27 ½ (28/28 ½)” from beg, bind off sts.
Front:
Work same as Back but at the same time as beginning of Sleeve incs, for the Neck shaping bind off center 16 sts and working
both sides at once, bind off from each neck edge 5 sts once, 2 sts 3 times and 1 st 3 times. After 70 (71/72) cm/27 ½ (28/28 ½)”
from beg, bind off rem 72 (78/84) sts loosely.
Finishing:
Block pieces to measurements. Sew shoulder seams. For the Sleeve border, pick up 94 (110)
sts along lower edge of each sleeve and work in Rib Pat.
After 10 cm/4”, bind off sts loosely. Sew side seams.
For the Collar, with circular needle, pick up 256 sts evenly around neck edge and
work in Rib Pat for 27 cm/10 ½”. Bind off sts loosely.
