“No Flashlight” is the newly released first real album by Mount Eerie. The Drums
from “No Flashlight” is a limited edition (600) vinyl-only release of the isolated drum
tracks from the album, just like it says. Itʼs meant for use in creating new songs, or for
DJʼs and MCʼs, or parades, or whatever. Itʼs just a bunch of drums.
If you have heard “No Flashlight”, youʼll know that “just a bunch of drums” from
the album would stand on their own. The beats are dense enough for their own record,
and listening to them, you can hear sounds coming from corners of the the rhythm lost
in the full mix.
The “drums” are actually very simple: a large cardboard box, one of those blue 5
gallon water bottles, the back of an acoustic guitar, and the occasional bass drum (pic-
tured).
The covers will be hand made.
“Limited Edition”
“Exclusive!”
“Instrumental!”
“High Quality”
Itʼs a 30 minute long vinyl record of only “drums”.
