Alright I am sure you have all purchased this guide in an attempt to make billions of RuneScape

gold from recovering accounts. Well I am going to teach you how to be successful and some

pros and cons of recovering. Recovering can be good because it gives you something to do

while you bot there also is the potential to get billions in a single recover, did you also know

that recovering is how Winallday and Chessy018 were ‘hacked’. If you go after inactive accounts

you also won’t have that bad feeling of hacking somebody, anyway now for some cons.

Sometimes this can be very hard and tedious work and can take multiple appeals. You also can’t

just recover any account you want unless you’re a professional, but for now the account(s) you

recover should meet some basic requirements to make it easier on you.

Recovering accounts can either make get you 3 party hat sets in 2 hours or frustrate you for

days; it all depends on luck this is not exactly a reliable money making method unless you know

what you’re doing. Before you start you need to realize it is much easier to recover old

abandoned accounts from 2001 then active accounts that play more than two times per week.

But anything is possible if you know what you are doing. When searching for an account you

want to look for an experienced player who knew what they were doing not some poor noob.

You want to make sure they have decent stats (remember back in 2001 75+ stats were

considered good, and party hats were not rares) Now that you have an account with decent

stats do a google search of their name. If literally nothing comes up I highly suggest moving

onto another account. What you want to look for is users that had forum accounts that you can

find some info about.

When going to recover an account these are things you are going to want to look for:

WHERE TO START

Try to find

- E-mail

- Country, City, State

-Real name

-Birthday

-IP, Internet service provider

Here is a list of 4,000+ accounts from 2001/2002 that you can start using. I personally recoverd
a few accounts from these lists to make around 1B. The two websites are password protected
the password for both is ‘Bear’

If you want to get accepted here are some tips:

#1 You are going to need the creation year unless you know like all 3 previous passwords.

#2: Internet Service provider is highly needed, but some recoveries have been successful

without it.

#3: The hardest part is previous passwords, you are going to need to have one previous

password. This may seem impossible but some people are horrible with passwords and this is

where the luck comes in.

Try passwords like:

Master – Jagex – qwerty – password – soccer – dragon – killer – boxing

Football – baseball – ‘username’123 – password123 – 123456 – 987654

Scarface – rocky – runescape – hunter – NASCAR – omglol

You can also try the top 500 worst password list apparently 15 in 20 people have used one of

these passwords before.

Also the biggest tip I can give is if you are not 100% sure of something don’t just randomly put

info in there it will hurt your chances, only thing I would recommend guessing on is Internet

service provider and of course passwords. This is way researching info is essential.

If you want a little confidence boost here is a dummy account made in 2001 on Tutorial Island I

will provide info and you try to recover it. Eventually it will get locked by JaGex but use it as a

confidence booster.

Then write a little sob story in the bottom something along the lines of

[Dear JaGex, I have been playing RuneScape since early 2001.

I have not played RuneScape in years but I have heard of all the great updates

I have forgotten my password. I really would love to get back into the game soon. Thanks, Ex4]

This is the most important and sometimes the hardest part of the recovery. Here is the order

you should go in when checking for accounts. Find a random name from the list > Look it up for

stats > check adventure log to see if it’s still active > Google search for information. If the

account you’re trying to recover passes all of these tests then continue to work it. Try to get
accounts with no dungeoneering, summoning, hunter, construction. These accounts are the

most inactive ones that you will want to go after. If google searching is not doing you any good

try taking a look at this list of 10,013 RuneScape users IP addresses. Who knows the account

This part is what can make or break you. The main thing you are trying to find is where the guy

created the account (where he lives) once you find this out from a forum account or another

source you then can set-up a proxy to make the appeal look like it was made from near where

that person lives, proxy set-up and use will be discussed later in the guide. If you can get a hold

of the IP address of the user do a lookup on the IP using the IP lookup this will give you where

they live and their internet service provider and hostname(put the host name in that little box

at the bottom of the appeal that lets you add 300 characters of additional info. Link for IP

If you can find his name try doing a pipl search to find his Facebook or accounts and info linked

to the person you might possibly find out hobbies and such to use for passwords. Link for pipl

It takes a lot of effort to find information but if you cannot find any information at all it looks

like you are going to have to move on to another accounts unless you have a very good feeling

about the accounts that you are going after.

If you really have a hard time finding accounts what sometimes works for me is Google

searching “Post your bank pictures here Runescape”. This will bring up old clan forums showing

banks of people from clans and usually the forum shows the country they are from Di-RS

Follow the pictures that I provided below to get to the appeal forum correctly and for best

results recovering. Using these strategies will help you succeed in recovering accounts

Making the appeal

Try to avoid subscription details unless you know for sure they paid via credit card or something
then put Credit card and year that they paid.

For previous passwords do what you learned a few pages above what passwords to try and
using the list of top 500 passwords. It only takes one correct password unless you don’t have
any creation details then it’s weird.

ALWAYS FILL OUT THREE PASSWORDS, They are all guesses that could lead you getting the
right password.

For contact details you can put their zip code if you find it that really helps, do not put e-mail
unless like I said earlier you hacked it somehow if you put an e-mail it JaGex sends and e-mail
saying there was an appeal attempt for they account.

^ For the contact details if you know their zip code that will really help you A LOT. Do not put
their e-mail even if you know what it is. JaGex will send them an e-mail saying if they account
is being appealed for and they might notice. Only put the e-mail in if you have access to their
e-mail.

Remember like I said earlier don’t guess unless its previous passwords do not fill it out unless
you know it. For previous passwords you also must fill all three out and it will take lots of
guessing and luck.

Lastly but for sure not the least important is the creation details and the 300 characters of
additional information. You will always want to put the creation year in. As for internet service
provider guess it if you have an idea of the year and country. AOL, Comcast, and Roadrunner
where very popular service providers in 2001 and 2002.

IF THEY DID NOT LIVE IN THE UNITED

STATES GOOGLE SEARCH “Internet service providers in (Country name)”

^ This is the box that will make a break you. Everything in

RED

is what’s really required to get a

successful recovery. If it is in

yellow

it really helps if you have it correct but it not required.

Internet service provider can be found simply by knowing their country. If you find their country
on forums or something like that then just do a google search of “Internet service providers in
(Country name). Ones like AOL, Comcast, and Roadrunner were only popular in the United
States, and AOL for the United Kingdom.

Now the very last part of your appeal the 300 characters for extra proof. This also can really
help if you do it correctly. If you have the IP or hostname or even some display names put them
in. Below I am going to show you two REAL ones I used in actual recoveries.

Example #1:

Dear JaGex, I have recently moved out of my parents’ house to attend school in Maidenhead,
UK. My old IP address was 94.194.191.75, and the old hostname was 94-194-191-
75.zone8.bethere.co.uk. I also once had the display name Mark_Wright, but then changed it
back. I would like to start playing

Dear JaGex, Hello my name is Eric Lopez. I created this account in June of 2002 when I lived in
Los Angles, California. Recently this year I moved to new york city for college. I don't know
many people here and I would love to get back into playing RuneScape.

Putting in their real name always helps you.

The theory to achieve a successful recovery:

From past experiences this is all the info I think you need in order to get instantly accepted on
your appeal.

Creation Year + Internet service provider + ONE previous password + A good amount on info in
the 300 character box = an Accepted appeal.

This does NOT mean you should not put things like Zip codes and subscription details in if you
know those put them in they can help. If you do not know them and are guessing it will HURT
your chances of success.

Obviously you did not come here to get denied on your appeal here is some things that will help

you after being denied.

When you get denied for recovery questions ignore unless you actually guessed some recovery

questions JaGex does this to throw you off. Recoveries are not required but help a lot if you

know them.

The most common thing to get denied for is previous passwords. This is always the hardest part

but until it says that you are not being denied for previous passwords you need to guess three

every single time. Try things such as “username”123 also use that list of the top 500 most

common passwords provided a few pages above.

Getting denied for creation details. This and previous passwords are usually the two most

common reasons to get denied. But unlike previous passwords the creation details can be

found much easier. The only thing you need for creation details is creation year and internet

service provider everything else other than that is just extra help. You can get the internet

service provider by looking up their IP address. But all you really need is their country. Once you

have their country do a Google search for “Internet service providers in (Country name)”

JaGex does tend to deny you for absolutely no reason given at times. It will say “sorry your
appeal has been denied for not enough information”. In this case you most likely have one

password right and the internet service provider and creation year right. Here is a few ways I

have found to help force that denied for no reason appeal into an accepted appeal.

Changing the order of passwords mixing them up but using the same passwords.

Adding a month to the creation date

Deleting internet history and cookies.

If none of the above methods are working switch proxies. Make sure you are using a

high anonymous one so JaGex does not know it is you.

One last method JaGex does to throw recovers off and to make them quit.

Sometimes JaGex will for no reason at all deny you for everything even though you got

something right they do this after you send multiple appeals from the same IP. Example of this

is…

Appeal #1: Denied for (Creation details, passwords)

Appeal #2: Denied for (Creation details, passwords)

Appeal #3: Denied for (passwords)

Appeal #4: Denied for (passwords)

Appeal #5: Denied for (Everything, Wtf?)

After this happens the best way to fix it is deleting your browsing history/cookies. Also

switching proxies and making sure it is a High Anonymous proxy!

If you do not know what a proxy is In short it hides your IP and you can customize it to make it
look like you’re in a different country or city. I highly recommend only using proxies on the
Internet explorer browser and not Firefox. Make Firefox you main browser and use Internet
explorer as a junk browser. Anyway, here is how to set up a proxy. NOTICE: Most proxies run
very slowly because they are free to use, if you find a fast one good for you. Step #1: Open
Internet Explorer and go to the ‘Internet Options’

Ok for best results you are going to want to use something like the one I highlighted in green
those are best because they are

‘high-anonymous’

which means the proxy won’t be detected

by JaGex.

The ones in orange are transparent which means they can SOMETIMES be detected by JaGex
and they might see right through you but if it’s the only proxy that you can find so be it.

The ones in the red are CoDeen/PlantetLab owned proxies, if you attempt to use a proxy owned
by this company it will not let you make an appeal and disconnect your proxy right after you
click the ‘Recover password’ button.

Once you find a good Proxy Lets use one of the green ones I highlighted for example.

It shows you 200.84.168.86:8080, Everything before the double dots ( : ) is the address after
that is the port number so it should look something like this.

Then simply hit Ok and your now looking like you’re from Venezuela.
REMEMBER: Not all proxies will work this is sometimes one of the hardest parts, but using a
proxy alone can boost appeal chances up by 30%. Whenever you are done using the proxy

ALWAYS uncheck the ‘Use a proxy’ box or else it will use that proxy while you’re on tools such
as Swift kit, IRC, and it can cause major lag.

Last minute tips and tricks to get accepted appeals:

After 3-5 attempts at recovering the same account using the same proxy clear out your cookies
and browsing history

ALWAYS Log your appeals, open up a notepad document and write all of the information you
used on your appeal then if you get denied what you got denied for weather it was for
‘Creation Details’ or ‘Previous passwords’.

Sometimes JaGex will deny your appeal but not put a reason for getting denied, this is good
because it means you are getting very close. When this happens here are some tricks you can
do to force it to be accepted, 1

change the order of the previous passwords mix them up and

try to hope to get them from oldest to most recent used passwords. Also another thing that
helps is if you are not putting a month for creation year then add a month and this will

sometimes force the appeal to get accepted. The last resort you might have to do is switching
up your proxy and clearing out browsing history. Never get discouraged from being denied it
happens 100’s of times to all good recoverers.

Proxies will not work 100% of the time. The proxies you are using are free so of course you

need to respect that but other than that here are you options if your proxy is too slow or you’re

having issues.

- You can wait for the website to refresh their proxy lists and update their proxies which

they do once per day.

- Sometimes when you click on the ‘Recover password’ button it will immediately say this

page cannot be displayed. In that case it means your proxy will not let you log in. BUT if
it says the page will not be displayed after you have waited for a few seconds then there
is still a chance it will connect. If you do not instantly get the “This page cannot be
displayed” then using the <- Back feature then refreshing and trying again. It has worked
for me many times before.

- But if you are struggling to find a proxy then you have one LAST RESORT option. If you

have a friend who lives in that area you can use team viewer and appeal through his
computer this method is somewhat new but is becoming more common.

- Never over stress about the proxy if it is just too hard to find one try it without a proxy

(only if you think you have enough information). If not just go after another account
there are always more you can hunt for.

The art of SAFELY Transferring your earnings!

- If you are not yet aware JaGex sometimes just randomly decides to ban people when

they transfer over a certain amount of wealth they classify it as ‘Account Hi-jacking’.
Here are ways to keep it safe and to completely avoid that mess.

- If it is less than 500m in earnings than simply trade it through the regular trade window.
- If it is over 500m I would highly suggest buying a member pin for 7 or 8mill and making

it a member. Once it is a member you have the option to stake against your account or
gear up and pk against your account for loot. If you want to be SUPER safe do what I

told you above and use a proxy for your account. Even in the rare chance it does get
banned you will be able to appeal saying the account was stolen JaGex will check the IP
and see it was not you.

- Example of the staking option: I went to world 22 and ‘won’ two 400m stakes in a row
- 400m in the inventory from the first stake and 400m shown here from the second stake.

For those of you thinking that drop trading is a safe option that one is very weird to explain.
JaGex now can detect drop trades from what I have heard even if you are using a proxy to help
you it still is not safe to drop trade. Your safest two options are staking it in two half stakes or
pking it in a high risk pk fight.

Recovering is not for everyone it is something you get better at with time and it can bring you

partyhats and loads of gold. It can also give you old abandoned accounts that you can use to

bot and gold farm for you. There is endless possibilities. You are all going to now ask “When

should I give up on accounts 10 appeal 20 appeals 50 appeals?” The answer I think it after 15

appeals if you personally think you’re getting nowhere with the accounts then you must be

lacking some major info, But if you actually do feel like you are getting closer than do not stop

until it says “Accepted”. But remember that next appeal could be the one for a partyhat set.

When recovering and item to lookout for is a ‘Warship’ this is an item that is very rare and most

players do not even know about it. It is untradeable but you will find people that pay upto 400$

for and accounts with a warship. Some people are into recovering for Runescape riches and

power some are in it to make real life cash. If you plan on selling your gold for real life cash I

suggest you use
