NOTES
Gauge is not important to this project and you may use other weights of yarn. Just make sure you are using a
comfortable hook for the yarn you choose.
Make sure your smaller hook creates tight enough stitches so the fiberfill stuffing will not show through.
An I hook with worsted weight yarn should give you around an 18” blanket.
When working in rounds that are not joined, use the stitch marker to hold your place as necessary.
Use optional directions in the boxes for Blanket and Arms or switch colors as desired.
A picture guide on how to tie in hair is on page 4 (latch hook method).

using diagrams in the box. Eyes should be in the middle of the head about 4 stitches apart.
Sew wig cap onto head tilted slightly back hiding your decreases (see diagram).
HAIR
(see page 4 for pictures and diagrams)
Cut lengths of HAIR yarn double the desired length for hair. Fill in
hair by using diagrams on page 4 as a guide (gray = hair) or as
desired. Begin by filling in hair around the outside of the wig and
then the part and/or bangs, and top of head. Fill in the rest as
needed. Sew on tiara/crown with HAIR color and trim to hair length
or weave in. Style and trim hair.
EMBROIDERING EYES

Tie hair in so that it lays flat depending
on how it is to be styled (the V should
face up instead of the bump).
Tie in two pieces per stitch for the part.
Have one side of the part lay to the right
and the other side to the left.
Braiding or pulling back into a ponytail is
a good option for small babies.
pink = wig cap
gray = hair
