PrivAssist Smartline CHARGER replacement.
I'm tired of repairing a chargers of PrivAssist Smartline. In many cases, the power
supply device chargers are burned so that they can not be repaired. Now I'm redoing
chargers, using the universal power supply +12 V (possible +9& 30V). For this, I was inserted
into the contact strip five voltage regulators, one for every two channels of charging. Get a
very reliable system.
Here's how to do it. For one set to make five of these PCBs.

How is this going. Since one voltage regulator serving two channels of charging, it is
necessary to bend the bar [+] between each pair of channels and isolate bent plate.
Thereafter need to drill holes in an aluminum frame for fixing each of the five voltage
regulators. Each regulator is bolted to the frame with aluminum grommet under each
LM317 set thermally conductive isolator. Metal heatsinks of regulators must be isolated
from the frame Aluminyum! Input voltage is applied to to the CON1 pin 1, and then via the
red wire from the CON2 pin 1 to the following regulator CON1 pin 1 (cascade). Solder side
of the board is isolated with varnished cloth strips.
Following are photos of the construction of which should be clear how to connect the
wire structure.
