Stitch Alternate for Circular Herringbone


Here's an alternate start for the cicular Herringbone projects from Deb Moffett-Hall

String as many beads as needed for first
row - usually 4, 6, or 8 beads.
Skip the last bead added -yellow- and
loop threaded needle around to pass
through the next bead -pink- in the same
direction again as shown. Draw thread
snug to bring yellow and pink bead side
by side as shown.
Loop threaded needle around to pass
through the next bead -green- in the
same direction again as shown. Draw
thread snug to bring pink and green
bead side by side as shown.
Loop threaded needle around to pass
through the next bead -blue- in the same
direction again as shown. Draw thread
snug to bring blue and green bead side
by side as shown.
Tail and working thread exit from blue
bead - pass through first bead -yellow-
and back through last bead - blue- in a
circle to bring the beads together into a
ring as shown.
You are now ready to add additional
herringbone rows as indicated in pattern
