REMOVAL/REFITTING OF THE WINDOW WIPER MOTOR

REMOVAL



REMOVE THE SCREEN WIPER MECHANISM
.


Position the carrier (1) as shown above
.


Remove the motor shaft nut (2) and washer
.


Remove the 3 fittings (3) from the motor
.


Using a screwdriver blade, lever the carrier (1) to release it from the engine shaft
.


Unclip the connector (4) from its bracket
.


Remove the wiper motor (5)
.

REFITTING



Refit the motor and the 3 fittings (3) of the motor
.


Position the carrier (1) between marks (A) and (B) (as shown above)
.


Assemble the carrier (1) on the motor shaft
.


Fit
:


the washer



the nut (2)



Refit the wiper mechanism
.


Check the operation of the window wiper
.


Nut (2) : Tightening torque : 1.8 ± 0.2 da.Nm
.


Bolt (3) : Tightening torque : 0.8 ± 0.2 da.Nm
