1. After the USB Flash Disk being formatted already, please re-plug USB Flash
Disk.
2. When the USB flash disk with two partitions could not be recognized under
Win2k, users please check if their win2k was updated by Windows2000 Service
Pack 3 downloaded from Microsoft Web site.
3. If users can not use MFORMAT or PASSID in Win2000 or Win XP normally,
please ask your administrator to run MFORMAT or PASSID firstly, then users can
use MFORMAT or PASSID.
4. User could partition USB Flash Disk into 2 disks under MAC O/S with version

6. If users would like to create Startup Disk under Win2K/XP, users need to prepare
the bootable folder in advance or use the Bootable folder that is offered with

7. Below are the description about how to prepare the bootable folder at WinXP or
Win2K in advance;
7.1 Create bootable folder from Win98 in advance: User can plug in the UR25 flash
disk at win98 firstly, then use the m-format to enable the startup option then
format USB flash to be startup disk. The content of the USB startup disk is shown
as Fig-12. Then copy all contents to the specified folder at Win2k or WinXP. User
can specify such folder when m-format inquires the folder containing the WinXP
or Win 98 system files.
Fig-12:
7.2 The other alternative is to prepare the bootable folder from WinXP. As shown at
Fig-13, user needs to format a Floppy Disk as startup disk. After the startup floppy
has been formatted already, user can take the content shown as Fig-14 of such
floppy as the boot file folder or copy the startup floppy content to the specified
folder. User can specify such folder or the startup floppy disk when m-format
inquires the folder containing the WinXP or Win 98 system files.
