REMOVAL - REFITTING FRONT WISHBONE

REMOVAL



Lift and support the vehicle with front wheels suspended
.


Remove
:


the wheel



pivot ball joint securing bolt(s)



Extract the pivot ball joint (Using the tool [1])
.


Detach the swivel ball joint (Using the tool [2])
.


Connect the pivot (1) to the subframe with wire to avoid the transmission becoming dislodged
.


Remove : The rear securing bolt (2)
.


Remove the wishbone securing bolts (3)
.


Remove the wishbone (4)
.

3 -
REFITTING



Proceed in the reverse order to removal
.


Always fit new Nyloc nuts
.


Run up the bolts
.


Fit the wheel - Tighten to 9 da.Nm
.


Place the vehicle at setting height
.


Without changing this position, tighten the fastener (6) to 8.5 daN.m
.


Without changing this position, tighten the fastener (7) to 4.5 daN.m
.


Tighten the nut (8) to 4 da.Nm
.


Check and adjust the front suspension geometry
.
