Problem
Service is aware that V360/V361 C1030, C1033 capacitor crack caused no earpiece
issue during 1st 200 NPI returns analysis. Motorola P/N is 2113946F08. The capacitor
located at the near the PCB termination, it may affect excess mechanical stress force of
PCB board bending.
Cross section of the capacitor observed mechanical stress crack. See below picture.
Solution
SDC will make design change on Rev 'C' PCB crossover in Feb 06
Below is the detail for PCB layout change Rev B Rev C.
New Rev C PCB P/N is 8471030A04 crossed over in supply chain in Feb 06.
