SUBJECT: Upright Hanger Bushings
A new upright hanger bushing is available for service use on the S30-100E series. The new bushing
provides a larger cross section for better durability and service life.
NOTE: The original hanger bushing will also be retained for service.

INTERCHANGEABILITY:
New bushings and thimbles are not interchangeable unless the drive axle housings are altered. Reference

Service Instructions:
S30-60ES units with S/N s D2D-1501 to D2D-5508 and S/N s D20-8025A to D2D-8437A, can be
serviced with the new Railco bushing by removal of the R.H. and L.H. drive axle wear sleeve.

Units with S/N s D2D-5508 to D2D-8025 do not have wear sleeves on the housings. These housings will
have to be machined to specifications on Fig. II.
