Viewing the Map
Select View Map from the main Garmin Mobile XT page to show a default "3D" view of your current location. You can change this view by changing the Map Settings.
The position icon shows your position on the map. On touch screen phones, touch the position icon to go to the Browse Map display. On other phones, press the navigation key to go to the Browse Map display.
If you are navigating an active route, the route appears as a colored line on the map. Directions appear at the top of the screen. Your current speed and estimated arrival time appear at the bottom of the screen.
If you are not navigating an active route, your current speed and heading appear at the bottom of the screen or press the backspace button on your phone.
To exit the map on touchscreen phones, select the exit button in the lower middle section of the screen. On Windows Mobile Smartphones, use the phone's back key.
