DEFINITION:

 
ZZ:PHPBoard is a simple Bulletin Board / Posting Forum.
The structure of the board is automatically generated by the
struture of the textfiles
in the message-directory.
The advantage is that therefore the board is very easy to
backup (save the txt-files) or to alter (rename the files
to alter the structure, change the content of a file to alter
a post).
It is very easy to install and easy to customize (one short
StyleSheet-File) and also has support for different language
files.






FUNCTIONALITY:

 
[1] structure: 'msg'-directory
ZZ:PHPBoard is automatically generated by the structure
of the files in the 'msg'-directory.
This structure of the names of the message-files is like
the chapters of a book or an essay, i.e.:
1.txt
1.1.txt
2.txt
2.1.txt
2.1.1.txt
3.txt
etc. ...
So you can define the content of the forum yourself by
organising the structure of the text-files.
[1] structure: '.txt'-files
The structure in each message-file is the following:
Each form-field (name, email, subject, etc.) corresponds
to one line in the text-file. The remaining lines are the
message
The result is the following structure:

INSTALLATION:

 
To install ZZ:PHPBoard:
[1] Copy the files in the folder 'forum'
to your webspace.
[2] Chmod the 'msg'-directory
to 777.

FINISHED !
If you want you can customize the program see next Section.






CUSTOMIZATION:

 
INC.CONFIG.PHP
In this file you can define the format width of the forum-table,
the name of the 'msg'-directory,
the format of the date,
and all the language stuff.
Further information is in this file !

STYLE.CSS
Int the file 'styles.css' you
can change the looks of the forum.
If you know a bit about Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), it
will be very easy for you to adjust the forum to your wishes.
If you do not know anything about CSS, play with the color
settings, you will learn it. It's easy.
