TBP01x 5.0 Week introduction
Hello everybody, my name is Luuk van der Wielen. I am professor in bioprocess engineering
at Delft university of technology. Welcome also to the site of the bioprocess pilot facility,
which we us at Delft university to scale up our research ideas from the lab into the much
larger scale of the realistic processes together with our industry partners. The last two
weeks, three weeks, you have been studying fermentation technology, fermentation
development and bioreactor performance. What we are going to do this week is integrate
that in a full process, look at the purification of products, how to scale up the whole system,
look into energy efficiency and so on. So stay with us this week.
