Leyton Orient in FA Cup shock
There was a shock result in Saturday's FA Cup game between Arsenal and League One side
Leyton Orient. The 1-1 draw means the two teams will meet again to replay the match. Ade
Adedoyin reports.
Leyton Orient's fairytale adventure in the FA Cup continues, though Arsenal looked to have
done enough to win when Tomas Rosicky scored early in the second half. But Orient
produced a late rally and were rewarded, minutes from time.
Commentator: And this is the substitute Tehoue, is there an opportunity... oh Tehoue, he's put
it all his way through. Can he finish... he can! What a goal, what a goal, straight through the
legs of Manuel Almunia and Brisbane Road is rocking!
Reporter: The draw earns Orient a lucrative replay at the Emirates Stadium. Barry Hearn,
who's the chairman of the League One side, says the money will be well-received with the
club bracing itself for a legal battle regarding West Ham's plans to inherit the Olympic
Stadium after the London games next year.
The issue is that the Olympic Stadium is very close to Orient's ground and Barry Hearn is
concerned that the arrival of a Premier League club could effectively put them out of business.
On a more positive note, he plans to take the players on a trip to Las Vegas, as a reward for
earning that replay.
Hearn: You can't describe the pleasure you get. It's just in your memory now for the rest of
your life. One thing I'll say about this team is they never, ever give up. They don't know when
they're beat[en].
Interviewer: You must feel so proud.

Hearn: I am, I am, this is a fabulous squad. We said before the game, if this was about heart
and character, there's only one team's going to win it. Arsenal were outstanding of course, but
at the end of the day, we're going to the Emirates [Stadium for the replay].
