Hackers Nailed
Police in the Silesian town of Myslowice arrested two teenage hackers on Thursday for breaking into an international banking computer system and using stolen German and US credit card numbers to pay for purchases on the web. The pair, aged 15 and 17 respectively, both come from welloff families and are exemplary students at their local high school.
?We?ve arrested a lot of internet fraudsters, but none of them were attending school regularly. And they weren?t as clever as these youngsters,? one official told reporters. The pair used the credit card numbers to order books, which they then sold through the Polish auction site Allegro. Police have not been able to establish how the pair broke through bank security.
