1 Choose the correct answer.

1 To make the gerund you add -ing to the infinitive / past participle of a verb, eg writing, going.

2 When a verb comes after a preposition or is the subject of a sentence, it must be in the form of a gerund/ an infinitive.

3 Both of these sentences are grammatically correct / incorrect:

4 You need to / don't need to add words to these sentences to make them grammatically correct:

5 To make the gerund of these verbs: hide, make, come, place, you must drop the -e then add -ing / double the last consonant then add -ing.
