Structure

The structure of Enochian ritual is similar to any other ritual.

1. Banishings and Purifications.

2. Preliminary Invocations

3. The Oath

4.Primary Invocations

5. Evocations.

6. Charge and instructions to entity evoked.

7. License to depart.

8. Banishings and purifications.

One must remember that steps 5-8 above depends on whether one is performing an invocation or evocation. In Enochian, the end result is usually an evocation.

BANISHINGS AND PURIFICATIONS

This part is quite important, as it is essential to clear the working space from allenergies. This prevents distractions, contaminations, and anything else that may corrupt your magickal working. The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (LBRP) and the Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram (BRH) are simple in nature, yet work quite well. You can use these, or the Enochian ones that I had listed.

The purification is quite simple. You can use the following format, find another, or devise your own. Picking up either the Water Cup or a container of water, circumambulate the circle clockwise, sprinkling the water, and say:

"The Priest who governs the work of Fire must sprinkle with the lustral waters of the loud, resounding sea."

Raise the Cup up high and announce: "I purify with Water!"

Setting aside the Water Cup, pick up either the Fire Wand or a stick of incense, circumambulate the circle clockwise, saying:

"And when after all the Phantoms are banished, thou shall see the Holy and Formless Fire, that Fire which darts and flashes through the hidden depths of the Universe. Hear thou the voice of Fire"

Raise the Wand or incense high and announce: "I consecrate with Fire!"

The above phrases are from the Oracles of Zoroaster.

PRELIMINARY INVOCATIONS

The next step to ritual is an invocation to the Higher for their magickal assistance, protection, or their acknowledgment of the ritual you are to perform. It can also be an opening ritual to get those magickal forces working. In the examples that I give, these rituals are designed to invoke the particular element you are to work with. I also have included the Supreme Invocation of the Lord of the Universe. This ritual invokes Lord Horus and may also be used as a devotional to Him.

During the preliminary invocations, you may invoke all the forces neccesary that will aid in the primary invocation, as generally speaking, there is only one primary invocation given.

The following example is an invocation to Ra Hoor Khuit, from the Bartzebal Workings ( from the Vision and the Voice with Commentary and Other Papers, Crowley, Nueberg, and 1999; WEISER):

Hail unto Thee, Ra Hoor Khuit, who art Lord of the Aeon!

Be this consecrated Tower

A place of power this fearful hour!

May the Names of God that gird us

Be the sign that he hath heard us!

By the five unsleeping Stars

Ward us from the Wrath of Mars!

By the rood of God erect

Be he perfect to protect!

Arm me, arm me, in the fray

That shall be fought this dreadful day!

THE OATH

The Oath is a normally ommited section in ritual. It is used as an affirmaion to the higher forces that you are to do such-and-such work with such-and-such's help. Adhearing with the definition of oath, you must follow through with what you say, or try your damnest at doing so.

The following example is an oath from the Consecration Ceremony for Jupiter Talisman (from The Golden Dawn, Isreal Regardie,1997;Llewelyn)

"I, Frater Ad Majorem Adonai Gloriam, do solemly pledge myself in the name of Al, toconsecrate in due ceremonial form this Jupiter Talisman. And I assert that with divine aid I shall invoke the Intelligence Yohphiel from his abode in Tzedek that life and power may be imparted to this Talisman. To the end may I be assisted to perform the Great Work, and that I may be able to better able to assist my fellom man. May the powers of Chesed witness this my solemn pledge.”

Since the Oath is always particular to the ritual you perform, I cannot give you any on this and it is also better to write your own.

PRIMARY INVOCATIONS

Since we are dealing with Enochian magick, the primary invocation is usually the recitation of the Enochian Call(s) that you are to used. The particular call is inserted in the format of the Enochian Tablet Rituals (which also includes the purifications), which I have given to you on this website. If you are evoking a particular angel, then the angel's heirarchy is then invoked. To better understand this part, read the section entitled How to use the Heirarchy.

EVOCATIONS

In Enochian evocation, this is the time which you call whatever angel you are evoking to appearence (visible, in the mirror, or otherwise).

CHARGE AND INSTRUCTIONS

After your evoked entity has appeared, you now give unto him/her the charge and instructions. To give the charge means you must command the entity (usually with Barborous Names-or in other words, names of Power or God)to stay put until you are finished, and to answer all questions with truth. The instructions are obvious- tell the spirit what you want it to do and in what amount of time. This is the part where careful wording is vital. For example, you would not tell the evoked force to remove all obstacles blocking your spiritual growth. What if a loved one is what is hindering your spiritual growth. Surely you would not want that person harmed or even killed. You would not only hate yourself, but you would be karmically responsible for your actions; After all, YOU made the order! To better word it then would be to tell the evoked force to remove your spiritual obstacles, without bringing harm to any person that may be blocking it. Then the spirit may manipulate a change in heart for that person that may be blocking your growth (for example, your mother may really hate that you choose to practice magick, so then would the spirit open her heart and mind, to what you do).

LICENSE TO DEPART

Simply put, this is the part of ritual where you thank the entity and then send it on it's way to accomplish whatever you may have told it to do. A simple license to depart may be as follows:

"I thank thee, O thou graceful spirit N. Be you on your way to accomplish the task that

I have given unto thee. May you ever speadily return whenever I call you next, and may

the blessings of YHVH ever pour upon thee."

You would then trace before the spirit a banishing pentagram that is opposite of the of it's elemental nature. In other words, you would trace the banishing pentagram of fire before the Lesser Angel ADRE, if that was who you evoked.

BANISHINGS AND PURIFICATIONS

At this point, you perform the banishing and purification rituals that you originally used. This part is very neccesary, as it is very important that you banish any and all forces that you originally invoked/evoked. Most people have heard the story of the Wiccan coven that forgot to banish the Fire elementals that they had originally called upon. The result was a fire that began in the south quarter of the circle. Thus, always be sure to properly banish the area, so that no stray energies start floating around the room, doing who knows what.

Opening Rituals

There is no special opening ritual - one could use th pentagram ritual instead of it.

The Enochian Hexagram Banishing Ritual

(if anyone printed or read this from elsewhere, one may or may not have noticed a few mistakes in it, such as missing pronunciations, typos (outside of replacing the I's with Y's)etc. I have fixed what mistakes I have found and placed the corrected version here. As far as possible missing text in the West and North, I did not add anything, as I am not sure if that was the way it was meant to be, or not.)

1.Stand facing North with your feet together, left hand at your side and right arm extended and centered with Fire Wand or thumb wand upright in front of you.

2.In the East, trace a banishing Air Hexagram (yellow) intoning: BUSD DE YAD (Boos-deh Day Ee-ah-dah, "The Glory of God"). Assume the God-Sign of Osiris Slain and intone:

MYKMAH A-YAL PRG DE VOOAN, AR QUASB TIBIBP, DOALYM OD TELOKH

(Mee-kah-mah Ah-ee-ah-el Pay-ray-gee-day Vay-oh-ah-noo, Ah-ray koo-ah-ess-bay, Tee-bee-bay-pee Doh-ah-el-ee-mee Oh-dah Tay-loh-kah-hay, "Behold, the Fire of Truth that destroys the sorrow of sin and death").

3. In the South, Trace the banishing Fire Hexagram (red), intoning BUSB DE YAD once again. Then assume the God-Sign of Mulier, intoning:

4. In the West, trace the banishing hexagram of Water (blue), repeating intonation. Assume the Good-Sign of Osiris Risen.

5. In the North, trace the Banishing Earth Hezagram (black) repeating the intonation. Then assume the God-Sign of Vir.

6.Facing North, assume the Sign of Osiris Slain (the Tau-arms outstretched), intoning:

Enochian Ritual Opening Of A Selected Tablet

(This ritual is designed to open up a selected Watchtower that you are to use prior to other rituals, depending upon their nature. Such rituals may include consecrating an elemental weapon, or evoking a selected force from one of the Tablets.)

1.Stand as the Altar facing East, raising arms, and sternly intoning: PROKUL PROKUL BAHLASTI OHPHEDA

2. Perform the Enochian Pentagram Banishing Ritual and Hexagram Banishing Ritual (or...the old regular ones work just fine). Use either the burin/dagger or thumb wand.

3. Picking up the Water Cup, go to the East. Sprinkle it thrice in fron of the Air Tablet, then holding it above your head, circumambulate clockwise around the room, stopping at each Tablet to sprinkle. At each Tablet, intone MPH ARSL GAIOL (Em-pay-hay Ar-sel Gah-oh-el) Then intone:

4 Return to the East. Pick up the Fire Wand. Starting at the East, wave the Fire Wand thrice before each tablet, stopping to say:

This concludes the portion that both purifies and consecrates the ritual area. This next portion involves opening whichever Tablet you are to open.

5. Facing the Direction of the Tablet you are to open, intone the proper Enochian Call (3^rd for Air, 4^th for Water, 5^th for Earth, and 6^th for Fire).

6.Starting East, Circumambulate the perimeter deosil thrice and then return to the Center facing East.

7.Do the Sign of the Enterer at the end of each of the following lines that you intone:

8. State purpose for opening the selected Tablet.

At this point, you do whatever selected work you will to perform. After you have completed your work, then shall you continue to the closing portion as follows:

10. Circumambulate widdershins thrice, beginning in the East.

11.Perform the Supreme Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (using only the Pentagram of the Element you were working with). Then perform the Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram. These are a MUST!

Conclude with the following:

OPENING BY WATCHTOWER

Whereas this ritual is intended to use the four elemental tools- it is permissible to use other elemental-corresponding tools that are consecrated to that element (and exclusively used to invoke that element) until the practitioner makes his/her tools.

*Stand before the altar saying: "Hekas, Hekas, Este Bebeloi!"

*Perform LBRP and BRH

**Pick up the Fire Wand, Circumambulate and say:

"And when, after all the phantoms are banished, thou shalt see that Holy and Formless FIre, the Fire which darts and flashes through the hidden depths of the Universe. Hear thou the voice of FIre!"

*Upon returning to the South, draw an invoking pentagram of Fire, vibrating OIP TEAA PEDOCE (Oh-ee-peh Teh-ah-ah Pay-doe-kay). Then trace the Kerubim or Fire or FIre symbol, vibrating ELOHIM. Raise the implement high saying:

"In the names and letters of the Great Southern Quadrangle, I invoke ye angels of the Watchtower of the South"

**Replace the fire implement and pick up the Water Cup and wave it thrice in the West. Circumambulate saying:

"So therefore first, the priest who governs the work of fire must sprinkle with the lustral waters of the loud, resounding sea!"

*Upon returning to the West, draw the invoking Pentagram of Water, vibrating MPH ARSL GAIOL (Em-peh-hey Are-sell Gah-oh-el). Then trace the Kerubim of Water orsymbol of Water into the Pentagram, vibrating AL. Raise the cup high, saying:

"In the names and letters of the Great Western Quadrangle, I invoke ye angels of the Watchtower of the Water"

**Replace the Cup, and pick up the Air Daggar, go to the East and wave it thrice, circumambulating and saying:

"Such a Fire existeth, extending through the rushing of Air. Or even a Fire formless, whence cometh the image of a voice. Or even a flashing light, abounding, revolving, whirling forth, crying aloud!"

*Upon returning to the East, draw an Invoking Pentagram of Air, vibrating ORO IBAH AOZPI (Or-oh E-bah-ah Ay-oh-zod-pay) and trace the Kerubim of Air (or symbol of Air) vibrating YHVH. Raise the Air Daggar high:

"In the names and letters of the Great Eastern Quadrangle, I invoke ye angels of the Watchtower of the East"

**Replace the Daggar, and pick up the Earth Pentacle, wave it thrice, circumambulating:

"Stoop not down into the darkly splendid world, wherein continually lieth a faithless depth and Hades wrapped in gloom, delighting in unintelligible images, precipitous, winding: a black ever rolling abyss, ever espousing a body unluminous, formless, and void"

*Upon returning to the North, draw an Invoking Pentagram of Earth vibrating MOR DIAL HCTGA (E-more dee-ah-el Hec-tay-gah) Draw the Kerubim of Earth (or symbol of Earth), vibrating ADONAI. Then hold the Earth Pentacle high, saying:

"In the names and letters of the Great Northern Quadrangle, I invoke ye angels of the Watchtower of the North"

**Return to the Center, making the Sign of the Rending of the Veil (hands together at chest, pointing forward, lunge forward and seperate your hands, as if you are opening some curtains), saying (vibrating the words in caps):

"Ol sonuf vaorsaji goho iad balata. ELEXARPEH. COMANANU. TABITOM. Zodacara eka zodacare Od Zodemaranu. Odo Kikale Kaa, piape piamoel Od Vaoanu"

(Oh-el Sow-newf Vay-oh-ar-sah-gee Go-hoe ee-ah-da bah-lah-tah. EL-EX-ARE-PAY COH-MAH-NAH-NU. TAH-BEE-TOE-EM. Zod-ah-cah-rah ee-kah Zod-ah-cah-ray Oh-day Zod-ah-mah-rah-nu. Oh-doh Key-clay Kah-ah-ah, pee-ah-pay pee-ah-moe-el Oh-day Vah-oh-ah-nu)

*Then say:

"I invoke ye, ye angels of the celestial sphere, whose dwelling is in the Invisible. Ye are the guardians of the gates of the Universe, be ye also the guardians of this mystic Sphere. Keep far removed the evil and the umbalanced. Strengthen and inspire me so that I may preserve unsullied this abode of the mysteries of the eternal gods. Let my sphere be pure and holy so that I may enter in and become a partaker of the secrets of the Light Divine".

**Move clockwise to the NE corner of the Circle and say:

"The visible Sun is the dispenser of Light to the Earth. Let me therefore form a vortex in this chamber that the invisible Sun of the Spirit may shine therein from above"

**Circumambulate thrice, making the Sign of the Enterer each time you pass the East.

**When you return to the Center, perform the Adorations, making the Sign of the Enterer after each line, and making the Sign of Silence after the last line:

"Holy art Thou, Lord of the Universe

Holy art Thou, Whom nature hath not formed

Holy art Thou, Vast and Mighty One

Lord of the Light and the Darkness."

END OF OPENING. PERFORM ALL WORKINGS BEFORE GOING TO THE CLOSING PART AS FOLLOWS:

Closing

After conclusion of ritual, state the following:

"Unto Thee Sole Wise, Sole Eternal, Sole Merciful One, be the praise and glory forever. Who hath permitted me, who now standeth humbly before Thee, to enter thus far into the sanctuary of Thy Mystery. Not unto me, but unto Thy name be the glory. Let the influence of the divine ones descend upon my head, teaching me the value of self-sacrifice so that I shrink not in the hour of my trial. But that thus my name be written on high, and my Genius stand in the presence of the Holy One in that hour when the Son of Man is invoked before the Lord of Spirits and his Name before the Ancient of Days."

**Circumambulate counter-clockwise thrice around the circle, giving the Sign of the Enterer upon passing the East, concluding with the Adorations.

**Say:

"In the name of YHSVH, I now set free any spirits that may have been imprisoned by this ceremony"

**Perform the LBRP and BRH

Enochian Temples: Generating the "Abyss" Experience with the Temple

Generating the "Abyss" Experience with the Temple

WARNING: The technique described herein can be VERY DANGEROUS to the emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of the magician who makes use of it. I am releasing it solely because full disclosure was one of the requirements under which the Enochian Temple system was originally given to me. The entities who provided the basic information feel that people can not grow to spiritual adulthood without being exposed to adult hazards. My experience of the results prevents me from being quite so cold-blooded. The same goals can be accomplished by more gradual means, as those entities have stated themselves. The magician who choses to use this technique must take full personal responsibility for both the decision to do so, and for any events resulting from its use.

Should a magician want use it despite this warning, he or she should do so only after constructing a strong, fully charged Temple which includes the altars of the sub-elements. And any invocations using this technique should be immediately preceded by the erection of the strongest wards the magician is capable of constructing.

The names of a Tablet's Seniors can be formed into a table on their own by placing their names one above the other, going clockwise from the Senior of Jupiter. For the Earth Tablet, the table of the Seniors would be:

Similar pseudo-tablets can be formed from the other elemental tablets. Names of six letters are formed by reading down the columns. These names already exist in the Temple, where they are formed by drawing a circle clockwise from any square of the Senior of Jupiter, connecting the corresponding squares in the other Seniors' names. In their natural place, they express the radiatory effect of the Elemental King as his force passes out along the paths provided by the Seniors. But the names can also be used in another way.

First, hollow hexagons are formed, as in figure ( ), one-half unit thick with outer faces one unit wide. Each letter of a name is assigned to one of the wedge-like segments of this structure in clockwise succession. Each name's hexagon is placed immediately below the corresponding arm in the wheel of the Seniors, about two-thirds of the way from the center of the Temple to the end of the arm, with the base side at the same level as the tops of the pillars. The hexagon attributed to the Sun is in the center of the upper Temple, with the Elemental King's beam passing through the hole.

In the chart as given above, the columns are attributed (from left to right) to Venus, Sun, Saturn, Earth/Luna, Jupiter, Mercury, and Mars. When used in invocations, the name should be vibrated immediately after that of the King or corresponding Senior, and at no other time. Also, the first enochian key should always precede the invocation of the element when these names are used. When they are visualized in the upper Temple, an appropriate telesmatic image for the Senior (or the god-form of the related planet) should be visualized standing upright above (not in) the hollow center.1 The magician himself should stand in the beam of the King while invoking them, and attempt to identify himself with it to the greatest extent possible.

As the Elemental King and each Senior is invoked with the corresponding name from the table, the hexagon should be visualized as projecting itself downwards into the lower temple, forming a hollow crystal column. The force of the King or Senior is channeled down through the column and then radiates outward through the faces. (This is in contrast to the normal Temple formulation, where the Seniors' force spreads out to form a curtain around the lower Temple.)

In the Enochian system, six of the planets are attributed to the first six sephiroth of the Tree of Life. The seventh, Saturn, takes in the last four sephiroth as a group. In the formulation here, the Senior of Saturn takes Sol's place in Tiphereth as the governor of the elements, and the Elemental King abandons his solar attributes, taking on his secondary attribution to the path of Shin, which connects Tiphereth and Kether in Achad's version of the Tree of Life.

In the Tree of Life, the centralizing effect of Sol normally causes the forces of the upper Tree to be focused in Tiphereth. But when Sol's force is repressed or removed, the balance of these sephiroth moves to the empty area in the center of the upper Tree. The path of Shin passes through this area, but it does not provide any focus for the forces of the six sephiroth.

2 Each of the sephiroth becomes focused in itself, and the attractive force of each draws equally on the empty center area. That area experiences a uniform pull outwards in all directions, resulting in the rending and dispersal of anything placed there. A conscious being passing up the path of Shin perceives this effect as the experience of the Abyss.

Normally, the Enochian Temple expresses the essential unity of the Tablets with the whole Tree of Life as a balanced, integrated structure. Using the technique presented here suppresses that integrity and replaces it with a strong force towards dispersion. The magician, identified with the Elemental King's beam of light, places himself to experience the full strength of that dispersion.

Depending on the degree of success, the magician may experience a variety of perceptions. At the least intense level, he may experience sensations of inexplicable "wrongness" and non-specific paranoia, or a sense of jittery energy like an overdose of methedrine. At a somewhat more intense level, he will experience a sense of his soul being ripped into extremely small pieces, while each piece is simultaneously being crushed to a point.

At full force, the experience then evolves into what can only be called the perception of voidness; the negation, the removal of any being or value from absolutely everything perceptible, both internal and external. The intensity of this voidness can not be adequately described. At this stage the paranoia sometimes returns, causing the magician to perceive the voidness as an all-consuming malevolent entity. Giving in to this paranoia, struggling to avoid being devoured, brings one on to the path of those whom Crowley calls the Black Brothers. If one does not struggle, that which perceives is itself absorbed into the void and another condition supervenes for which description is futile.

2 The idea that an eleventh sephira exists in this position is one of the most vile lies ever perpetrated. It is unfortunate that some otherwise competent scholars have made their reputations by spreading it even further. While there is the appearance of something occupying the center of the hexagram when it is viewed from lower down in the Tree, this appearance is entirely hallucinatory. The Tiphereth consciousness merely sees a reflection of itself in the surface of the Great Sea, as a skin diver sees a distorted reflection of himself in the waves above his head.

Creation and Consecration of the Magick Mirror

I constructed and consecrated my mirror over a period of three days, each day working in the hour of the moon, and consecrating it that same hour on the third day. You may or may not want to do the same, but it is better to do all of the construction in the lunar hour, and it is quite hard to do both the construction and the consecration in the same hour, as you must wait for the coats of pain to dry.

DAY ONE

I began by creating a magickal elixir, made up of various herbs and objects that are attributed to the moon. If you want my recipe, which I did record in my magickal journal, please E-Mail me, and I will be happy to share it with you. I brought all of the ingredients to a boil, and allowed them to boil for nine (the number of the moon) minutes, during an hour of the moon. During the nine minutes, I traced the Invoking Hexagram of Luna nine times over the elixir, vibrating the name Shaddai El Chai, each time. After the elixir had cooled down considerably, I then placed my glass I was to use for the mirror into the solution. I allowed the glass to remain in the solution until the next lunar hour.

The next lunar hour came around, and I removed the glass from the solution, and then bottled the solution to use later as a mirror wash or to use in the consecration or other lunar objects (it also makes a wonderful solution to use when purifying the area prior to any lunar workings). At this point, I began to work on the base that I was to place the mirror upon. My base was a round flat piece of wood. On one side of the wood, I painted it solid black, whereas the other side, I painted the moon, in flashing colors. Both the glass and the wood was allowed to dry in my ritual space until the next day when the hour of the moon came into place.

DAY TWO

I began to paint one side of the glass with a flat black paint, using acrylic paint as a medium. I then applied two more coats, allowing each one to throughly dry. I then retired my work for the hour, and awaited the next lunar phase.

This hour was of the final phase of the construction, the placement of the mirror on the base. I took a heavy carpenter's glue (or attempt to find mirror posts), and placed the glue onto the black side of the wood, and then firmly pressed the glass onto it. Be sure you do not place too much glue on the wood, as it may push out onto the front side of the glass when you press the glass onto the glue (which is more or less equivalent to a demonic curse...as it is hard as hell to remove all the glue from the front of the glass without making what I call the "smear that will never go away", or possible scratching the surface).

DAY THREE

I entered my ritual space, and robed myself. At any earlier point in history, I had made the first pentacle of Luna (from The Key of Solomon), and consecrated it; so I placed this talisman around my neck. The following is the ritual, with some editing, of the ritual I had used. It contains both Enochian and Qabalistic elements.

1. LBRP and BRH.

2. Purified with Water, and consecrated with Fire.

3. Recited the Supreme Invocation of the Lord of the Universe (I am very devout to Horus).

4. Invocation to HRU¹, the Recording Angel.

5. Invoking Ritual of the Hexagram of Luna.

6. Recitation of the 4^th Enochian Key.

7. I placed the mirror onto the Altar, and faced West from the East of the Altar.

8. I vibrated the Holy Names, the King of Water, and down to the Elder LAOAXRP, which is the Elder of Luna upon the Water tablet. I invoked him to work through me his powers that was needed to consecrate the mirror. I then, raised the mirror on high, and recited the following phrase:

9. Being satisfied that the work was accomplished, and that the mirror was duly consecrated, I traced the banishing Hexagram of Luna before the Water Tablet. I returned to the front of the Altar.

10. I wrapped the mirror in cloth, so as not to banish the energies within as I closed the circle.

11. Performed the Banishing Ritual of the Luna Hexagram..

Thus I was finished, and put the mirror away until needed. At this point, it is important to say that you should never, ever expose your mirror to sunlight. Doing thus would cause the solar energies to negate those of the lunar, thus resulting in you having to consecrate it again (the same applying to the lunar solution).

NOTES

1. The Angel HRU is the patron angel, so to speak, of the Golden Dawn. The angel specializes in divination. Many will wonder what place the angle has in the above ritual, and I shall tell you why I added that part. I decided to actually use two consecrations in one. The first one (to HRU) consecrates the mirror.. The second one, the Enochian invocations, actually consecrates you with the lunar energies (see the translation below), allowing you to be better capable in scrying by creating a psychic link between you and the moon.

2. Translation: "Powers of the Moon, Thee I call! Come and make me a strong seer of all things in all places. Move! Descend! Apply yourself unto me as a partaker of thy Undefiled Knowledge!"

Ritual Opening by Watchtower.

*Supreme Invocation of the Lord of the Universe (or whatever preliminary invocation you will).

*Recitation of the Third and the Ninth Enochian Key.

*Facing East, trace the Invoking Pentagram of Air while vibrating ORO IBAH AOZPI. Trace the Kerubim of Air sigil within the Pentagram, vibrating the name BATAIVAH (Bah-tah-ee-vah-heh).

*While looking at the Pentagram, vibrate the name of the six Seniors:

First perform the LBRP, and the Elemental Temple Opening that corresponds to the respective Aethyr.

Recite the Call of the Aethyrs, inserting the appropriate Aethyr in the respective locations of the Call... Madariatza das perifa TEX, etc. while the assistant (other sex magick partner) simply relaxes and meditates upon the sounds of the Enochian Call.

When the Call is completed, let the Magickian slowly vibrate the names of the Governors.

Then, believe it or not, forget about the operation. Relax, take your time and enjoy each other's company. Build slowly and naturally to greater levels of arousal. Continue to do everything you can to sustain your love making (at least 25min, but for God's sake dont keep looking at your watch!). The idea is to become joyfully and totally exhausted. Then at the moment of orgasm (and not a split second before), let the Magickian remember the purpose of the operation and repeat the first line of the Call: Madariatza das perifa (Aethyr name) cahisa micaolazoda saanire caosago od fifsa balzodizodarasa IAIDA. This may be done verbally or mentally, but it MUST be well memorized so that it can come forth effortlessly.

The Magickian falls exhausted and allows the flood of images to flood hir brain. The temptation to fall asleep will be almost irresistible and that is where the skill of the Assistant is most vital.

After a few quiet moments if the Magickian is not relating hir vision to the Assistant, then he/she must take it upon hirself to question hir. This requires a high degree of tact and subtlety for he/she does not want to disturb the vision and yet he/she cannot allow hir to fall into a deeper state of unconsciousness. He/She should have a pad of paper and a pencil handy to write down anything that the Magickian says (a tape recorder is a better alternative, respectfully). He/She should also be especially careful to correctly spell any unknown words or phrases and he/she should not hesitate to ask the Magickian (or entity speaking through the Magickian) the correct spellings of the Angelic words.

If the vision stalls and reaches a point where nothing furthur is happening, the Assistant can sometimes give it a push.

EXAMPLE

Magickian: "All I see is a bunch of trees. Nothing is happening."

Assistant: "Try turning around. Do you see anything now?"

Magickian: "Just more trees, but there is a small pond in the middle."

Assistant: "Walk over to the pond. Look in the pond and tell me what you see." Magickian: "At first I see only my reflection, but as I keep looking I see that the pond is actually a bowl supported by the winds of four Angels, etc." I

f angels or other beings appear in the vision, they MUST be tested by repeating the names of the Governors one at a time. If the entity shows discomfort at the name of any of the Governor, dismiss it by continuing to repeat the Governor's name until it disappears and a being appears that is strengthened by hearing the names.

Do not be afraid of anything you "see" or "hear". Maintain a good natured tolerance even if hideous sights or terrifying beings or creatures appear. Act like a dispassionate explorer. "Fear is failure and the forerunner of failure."

When it is clear that the vision is now finished, or when it is obvious that the Magickian is now fatigued or ready to fall asleep, it is time to end the operation.

It is of the utmost importance that the Magickian now "snap out of it" for it is he/she that must banish and close the Temple. If the Magickian is reluctant to "wake up" and perform hir duties, it is the Assistant's responsibility to see that he/she does! No effort should be spared to "break the spell" and return the Magickian to the objective world. Turn on the lights, talk loudly, get a drink or splash water on hir face.

Finally, the Magickian performs the LBRP and the Magickian and Assistant reveals the notes and transfer them to the Magickian's magickal diary. The comments of the Assistant are often extremely important and should not be omitted in the record.

Often the couple will wish to change roles and explore the same Aethyr on a subsequent occasion. Allow at least one day between operations.
