And the Chinese invented …
Many things which are part of our every day lives, were invented by the Chinese, including fireworks, spaghetti, kites, clocks, acupuncture, silk, paper, books, printing and ink. It's hard to imagine our lives without some of these things.
Without printing we (1) _____ able to communicate with other people at a distance or through time.
