It is a requirement by law that you are able to show eligibility to work in the United Kingdom. Enclosed is a list of acceptable documents to show proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
Please forward a copy of the relevant documentation to Morson International, so that we are able to register you on our database. Scanned documents sent via e-mail will be sufficient and preferred.
Asylum and Immigration Act
You must provide the Company with documented evidence of your right to live and work in the United Kingdom in line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.
You must provide EITHER:
A copy of ONE of the documents from List 1, or
A copy of TWO of the documents from List 2 below.
List 1 - a copy of one of the document from this list must be provided
UK passport
EEA passport or national identity card
UK residence permit issued by the Home Office
An Application Registration Card issued by the Home Office to an asylum seeker that the holder is permitted to take up employment.
List 2 - a copy of two of the documents from this list must be provided
An official document bearing a National Insurance number, along with:
A birth certificate, or
A letter from the Home Office, or
An immigration status document
A Work Permit, along with:
A passport, or
A letter from the Home Office
In either case, the documents must confirm the holder has permission to enter and remain in the UK and take the employment offered.
If you are a National from one of the following Countries who joined the EU on 1 May 2004:
Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia or Slovenia
You will need to provide:
A national passport or national identity card
Evidence that you have registered with the Home Office (apart from Cyprus or Malta)
