HOW CAN WE PREVENT OUR CHILDREN FROM BEING
MORE AND MORE AGRESSIVE?

Crime, violence, brutality become more and more popular among children because of television, computers and other people influence, and because of it lifetime on our planet is going to be very dangerous. Children should be children as long as it possible, they should live in happiness and calmness. But there is more and more factors which cause that they become adult too early.
When we look on our television currently we can see so many violence that there was not it earlier.I remember cartoons from my childhood, they were funny and innocent, and now when I watch cartoons I am terrified because these cartoons are not decidedly cartoons for children. Most of them are too serious, I mean, their theme is too serious. I do not understand how children can understand what they are watching, what this cartoons are about. They see only fights, murders and wars. And it is the biggest problem - brutality, cartoons are full of it. The heros are robots, cyborgs, monsters, on the other side there are villains, which are awful, monstrous and horrifying. I agree that good always win and evil always lose, but the way how it is presented is not good, because they see that if you want win you have to fight and kill. And how is it possible that such films can be devoted to children?
Besides cartoons there are also films: films for children and films for adults. But is there any boundary between them? Rather not. There are no films now, even this for children, without blood and fights. All this films are broadcasted not only after 8 p.m. but also during the whole day. People in this films are dying, fighting, killing and children are watching it and they think that it is normal and it is just like it should be. We should deal with it as soon as possible, before it will be too late.
First of all producers or directors should not make so drastic productions. It is said that if in film there is no violence the film is not worth seeing. We should change this point of view. There should be a kind of commission which would censor all films and cartoons and decide whether it can be broadcasted or not. All films with elements of violence should be emitted after 10 p.m., or should be available only on video cassettes. And all adults should concern themeselves with it and do not allow children to watch such films.
The next issue - one of the most wonderful achievements of the XXth century - computer and internet - a source of information, entertainment, education, contact with the whole world. But in spite of the fact that it is so helpful and useful thing it becomes something dangerous. Children love computer games, but again, the most popular computer games have to contain elements of brutality. There must be a hero who is killing everybody he meets and has many lives. So children playing such games think that we, people, have also few lives and that if we kill somebody he or she would be still alive. They think that killing somebody is not dangerous thing, they do not know that it is irreversible.
Computer games can be a very good way for relaxing. but they should have two very important aims: entertain and teach. They should be funny, colourful, interesting, they should help children develope their skills and know the world.
And the last one matter. Other people. Parents are the most important people for children so they should teach them how to live and how to treat other people. But nowadays we live very fast, people are very absorbed in their work, and do not have enough time even for their own children. People are too busy to take care of their own children, to show them love. When parents do not treat their responsibility too serious children start looking somewhere else. Drinking, smoking, drugs and agression - these are these things which satisfy their needs, which help them to forget that their parents are not interested in their problems. People should understand how much children need them, should find more time for their children and show them the right way.
Parents, family and school should have more time for children, should bring them up according to some rules, which should learn them respect for all people. We should make better films and cartoons which would show children how beautiful and peaceful is world without crime.
The most important thing is that we should help children to be children as long as it is possible and protect them from brutality of this world.
