Shopping and clothing
Shopping is very important thing in our life. We have many stores where can we buy every things which we want. I saw many stores in many countries and I must say that our stores are really international. For example in supermarket Tesco you can pay with Euro and not only there. The best supermarket in Liberec is in my opinion hypermarket Hypernova. There are many shops, not only groceries. You can buy shoes, drugs, clothes there. It has many branches along whole republic. There are many more supermarkets but we go only in hypernova and tesco because it´s near our home and tesco is in the center of Liberec. In Germany for example are very similar shops. These are great supermarkets and amller shops too.
One thing is common for all shops in the world: You can get goods which are from many countries. I like shops where can we choose from more variants of one thing.
In our family is shopping very frequently because I have small brother and small sister. We go shopping three or four times per week. Our fridge should be more bigger I love it because in shops can we meet some friends or people who we haven´t seen long time. We can go for coffee and speak about what´s new or which scholl are they attending.
But one shop is special for me. I have job in bookstore in Pražská street. I like it and I ejoy it. Sometimes calls some people from England, Germany or Japan. I can learn about books more than I have ever known. I work there for about one year and it has some advantages: I can see some books before are they for saling.
Some question for this homework was about shops in London. I wasn´t there so I can´t speak about them but I remember that we learn about Mark´s and Spencer on our English lessons. It´s some shope where can we buy all from bread to shoelaces. It has long tradition and has also many branches around the world. The staff from this shop must be very happy and satisfied because they are in my opinion well paid. In Prague, there is one branch too and they earns millions per week. If I can see, there are many more similar stores in London. For example in Oxford street, there are many shops along.

Clothing
And now a few words about clothing. One of the most important factors how people see each other is the clothes they wear. This is especially important for teenagers. Their clothes express the image they want to project. They might choose old jeans and a torn T-shirt or they might be very concerned with having the latest fashion. I personally prefer to dress simply but nicely. According to the temperature, I choose what to put on. Usually I like to wear a T-shirt and jeans. If it's colder outside I wear a jumper. In winter I wear a winter coat. In summer I like to wear light shorts. As for shoes I prefer ball shoes but in winter I wear my winter shoes.
There is a proverb "The clothes make the man" even though men tend to be more conservative. They usually wear trousers, shirts, and pullovers or sweaters. For more casual dress they might wear jeans and a T-shirt. At work they might wear a suit or dress, some people have to wear uniform. On cold days they wear an anorak, a winter coat, a rain coat, gloves, and scarves. Men don't have many decorative items, maybe a tie or bow tie, a belt. The tie should match the shirt as well as the suit. Lots of men prefer buying ready made clothes because they are much cheaper. Young people these days are wearing long trousers and comfort T-shirt.
Women wear a dress or a blouse and a skirt, a pair of stockings or tights and shoes. Of course they can also choose to wear pants and a casual shirt. In winter they wear a winter coat, an anorak, some gloves or mittens, and boots. Women going to a concert or the theatre might wear an evening dress. Women have more choices about decorative items. They can wear jewellery, like a necklace, a bracelet, earrings or rings made of gold or silver. Ladies carry a handbag in which can be found a handkerchief, a mirror, a lipstick, a coin purse, keys, a driver's license or perhaps handy.
Clothes for men and woman can be sewed from different kind of materials and patterns. Materials are for example wool, cotton, silk, velvet or some kind of nylon. Patterns are chequers, vertical and horizontal stripes, polka dots, or zigzag...and more others…
I think clothes could underline character of its owner and give him feelings of comfort and self-confidence…
