Street music
Before he had a hit single or wrote for some of music's biggest stars, Argup was already living the lifestyle of the rich and famous. But instead of being an internationally known singer, Argup earned his money from crime on the streets of New York City.
He spent a lot of time in prison. At first, it was a life he wasn't willing to give up. But prison (1) _____ him think about changing his life. In some ways, it was the natural thing for him to do as his father is a jazz musician, and Argup had been writing songs for himself and his friends for years.
