Strop Porotherm 62.5 stworzony został przede wszystkim z myślą o budownictwie jednorodzinnym dla typowych rozpiętości oraz obciążeń użytkowych stropu.
Strop Porotherm 50 różni się od niego tylko rozstawem osiowym belek. To właśnie dzięki większemu zagęszczeniu belek stropowych (elementów nośnych) może on znaleźć zastosowanie wszędzie tam, gdzie wymagane są wyższe wytrzymałości stropów.
