How to Draw Shrek

Step 1.

 Okay lets start off by drawing out the guidelines and circle shapes to form a solid frame for Shrek. Start by drawing out his big round head and sketch in some facial guidelines. Next draw his big oversized torso. After you get those two major shapes drawn out you can go ahead and draw out the guidelines that are connected to them. After the guidelines are drawn out, draw out the shapes of the feet and hands as shown.

 

Step 2.

 In this step what you will be doing next is drawing out the beginning stages of his face, clothing and other body parts. Start by drawing out the shape of his eyes. Next draw out the big honker he has for a nose. After you do that you can sketch in his big smile and sketch in some facial definition line frown lines and a small line for the chin. Now before moving to the lower part of the body draw out the lining for the ears. Next draw out the shapes of his arms along with the shape of his shirt that is tied in the front. next draw out the inner part of his legs and the start the shaping of the shoes as seen above.

 

Step 3.

 Now as you can see Shrek is starting to take on more form in this step. All you really have to do here is finish drawing his ears and eyebrows. Then what you are going to do is draw out the shirt line under his neck. Draw in the belt that is tucked away under his belly and finish off the other sides of his legs.

 

Step 4.

 Lastly what you are going to do in this last step of drawing is draw in his eyes including the pupils. Detail the inner parts of his eyes to give definition to his face and sketch in some details on his shirt. After you are done with this step you can erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step 1.

 

Step 5.
