1. Rob Young ("THE AUTHOR") hereby grants you a non-exclusive license to use the applet ("THE SOFTWARE") in object form for personal use ONLY. This license expressly prohibits the use of THE SOFTWARE in connection with any commercial enterprise, including (but not limited to) its publication on the World Wide Web.
2. THE AUTHOR provides THE SOFTWARE 'as is' without express or implied warranties. THE AUTHOR shall not be liable for any damages suffered by you or any user of THE SOFTWARE even if THE AUTHOR has been informed of the possibility of such damages.
3. THE AUTHOR reserves the right at any time to release a commercial version of THE SOFTWARE, and to alter prices, features,specifications, capabilities, functions, and/or licensing terms of the commercial release.
4. Title, ownership right, and intellectual property right to THE SOFTWARE shall remain the property of THE AUTHOR. You agree to abide by the copyright law and all other applicable laws of the relevant jurisdiction including, but not limited to,export control laws.
5. You agree not to modify or attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble or reverse-engineer THE SOFTWARE.
6. Permission to distribute THE SOFTWARE and its documentation is hereby granted, provided that:
i) the copying or distribution is not done for direct commercial advantage;
ii) any distribution of THE SOFTWARE is on the same terms as in this License Agreement, and each copy contains the
license agreement and documentation that accompany THE SOFTWARE; and
iii) any additional documentation or other materials related to such distribution or use acknowledge that the software was
developed by Rob Young.
7. THE AUTHOR may terminate this License at any time by delivering notice to you and you may terminate this License at any time by destroying or erasing your copy of THE SOFTWARE. Upon termination of this License, you agree to destroy or erase THE SOFTWARE within 7 (seven) days of your reception of the License termination notice.
8. You may not distribute or duplicate THE SOFTWARE without the explicit consent in writing of THE AUTHOR. This License is personal to you and sets forth the entire agreement between you and THE AUTHOR.
9. Use of THE SOFTWARE indicates your understanding and acceptance in full of the terms of this License.
Registered Users
1.Rob Young ("THE AUTHOR") hereby grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the applet ("THE SOFTWARE") in object form for personal and/or commercial use, this license taking effect immediately upon receipt of your registration fee by THE AUTHOR.
2. The registered applet may be used for commercial purposes only by the person named as having registered the software. Commercial use by any other individual or company (such as clients of a professional web-site design/hosting company) requires registration of a further copy of THE SOFTWARE f0r each commercial user.
3. Paragraphs 2 to 9 (inclusive) above are applicable.
